Who is this course for?

 

The course is ideally suited for activity instructors working in centres providing outdoor activities.

 

It is also useful for anyone else who enjoys the great outdoors. It is not only extremely useful should you go off hiking with friends or family, but outdoor first aid is an invaluable skill for anyone who spends time in the outdoors.

The course is hands-on and highly practical. No previous experience is necessary.

 

The course will include all the basics necessary to confidently deal with many common incidents that can occur on a busy day knocking about in the great outdoors, including dealing with an unresponsive casualty and AED use. The course will also include practical scenarios and remote casualty management.

 

Price includes certificate, book, refreshments. Bring a packed lunch, practical clothing, notepad and pen.
