Duke of Edinburgh

Gold Award Residential week in the Pyrenees

We offer a 5 day Duke of Edinburgh award residential course high in the Catalan Pyrenees run by Qualified International Mountain Leaders who have been based in the Pyrenees for over 13 years and have the experience to ensure an adventurous, fun, highly educational and safe wilderness experience.

Over the previous years we have organised and help run a number of Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award summer and winter expeditions.  Based at Our Mouli del Riu guest house, in the village of Saint Pierre Dels Forcats near the town of Font Romeu in the Pyrenees Orientals region of France.

We offer a maximum of 12 residential students  the opportunity of expanding their wilderness knowledge and having the adventure of a lifetime while experiencing the wilderness of the back country.

Full-board accommodation is based on twin on-suite rooms and one night during the week spent at an unguarded mountain refuge where the group will cook together and live a true wilderness experience.
